Base is a prefabricated building system made up of pillars, I or inverted T-beams and hollow-core slabs.

This system is mainly used for the realization of multi-storey industrial, commercial, civil and office buildings.

Concrete slabs are obtained by extrusion: this process ensures a high compaction degree and, therefore, a reduction in weight resulting in better product performance.

Being it a self-bearing element, rapid and safe laying operations are guaranteed and therefore construction costs are cut.
Reduced sections, high static performance and fire resistance result in maximum exploitation of cubic volumes, optimization of costs originating from fire protection systems and less frequent interventions to conform to the increasingly demanding regulations.

The limited width of the components allows for a reduction in the equivalent loads in the presence of static or dynamic concentrated overloads.

The soffit is flat with smooth and regular surface: any additional intervention is therefore insignificant and building finishes costs are consequently reduced.

Moreover, the Base system provides for the use of lowered inverted T-beams for accommodating the overhead crane rails or metal beams, when beams lower than the floor need to be raised.
