Soldal is a prefabricated building system made up of pillars, I or inverted T-beams and -section roofing elements.
This system is mainly used for the realization of multi-storey industrial, commercial and office buildings.

The particular positioning of the pre-stressing reinforcement guarantees the possibility to place ducts for cables and installations vertically in wide areas of the floors; it is also possible to provide for holes (diameter: 200 mm; constant heart-to-heart distance: 60 cm) in the ribs, so that ducts for cables and installations can be placed horizontally too.

The placement of the floor elements along the lower slabs and the upper covering by means of a folded sheet form two interconnected compartments: one can be accessed from the floor by means of trap doors and the other one can be accessed from the ceiling and may be open or inspectionable by means of a modular false ceiling flush with the soffit.

Reduced sections, high static performance and fire resistance result in maximum exploitation of cubic volumes and less frequent interventions to conform to the increasingly demanding regulations.

Moreover, the Soldal system provides for the use of lowered inverted T-beams for accommodating the overhead crane rails or metal beams, when beams lower than the floor need to be raised.
